I love my dad and mom! They are important people and God sent them to help raise and guide us as well as train us. But most of all, they can be a friend to you when you need to lean on someone. They are special because they used to be your age too! You can ask what they were like when they were kids or ask about what school they went to. It's simple. Your parents are their for you. God knew you would need them and so he placed them in your life. What are some things you like about your parents?

Thankful for my baby sister!
> This week my baby sister, Angel (age 2), was in the hospital with respitory issues for three days. She made it out okay and I am thankful for her. I love her. Even though sometimes she comes in my room and gets into things, she still is important to me. One day I even saved her life when she was choking on apples. Ever since then I have been thinking, "What if I had not been there for her?!" "What if she had choked and no one saw her?!" You may have not saved your sister's life from a life-threatening issue, but that is no excuse for not being there for them in other situations. They need you! And God sent them in your family for a purpose!
Meet Mimi! My great-grandmother on my dad's side of the family! She moved from Mississippi to Sparta to be closer to us! She and my Papa are generous people and I love them. The elderly people are very smart and they need to be treated with respect. They have lived longer than us and they know more about life and decisions. They know how you feel right now at your age because they have been that age and they know what you're feeling, (well, maybe not word for word) and what you need! -Candice

I bet every grown-up had something silly happen when he or she was little:D. I remember when I was about 3 or 4 I was taking a rest time and I got out of my bed and guess what, my mom caught me...I told her that I prayed to God and He said I could get up:D. I have to admit...I was worse then what I thought I was. I have asked my mom what I was like when I was little and all I will say is I thought I was a 'good girl'. HA!
